Votive offering for the pontificate and canonization of St. Pope John Paul II
Archbishop Edward Ozorowski Metropolitan of Białystok on 29 June 2014, Feast of Saints Peter and Paul, erected a new parish of St. John Paul II in Ignatki-Osiedle, as a votive offering for the canonization of the Polish Pope. This is the first parish and the first church in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Białystok in Poland dedicated to St. Pope John Paul II.
